A truly engaging session this week in the hashtag#Cybercrime module at Royal Holloway.
We had the pleasure of welcoming Detective Constable Simon Ardeman from the City of London hashtag#Police and Cyber Griffin to campus, where he walked students through a real-world cybercrime #investigation successfully resolved by #CoLP.

What made the session particularly powerful was the structure: as the case unfolded, I interjected theory-driven prompts, connecting investigative decisions to criminological and behavioural frameworks, and social engineering principles. The result was an interactive, almost live-investigation experience, where students moved between practice and theory.

Very pleased to see such positive feedback from the cohort. The learning experience is strongest when operational reality and academic analysis meet.
